 "Jack the Giant Slayer" (2013) is a fantasy adventure film based on the classic English fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk." A sequel was initially planned but canceled due to disappointing box office performance.

*Synopsis:*


After defeating the giant Roderick, Jack (Nicholas Hoult) and Princess Isabelle (Eleanor Tomlinson) rule England with wisdom and courage. However, a new threat emerges when a mysterious giantess, Morwen, arrives seeking revenge for Roderick's demise.


Morwen reveals that Roderick was her brother and that their kingdom, hidden in the clouds, is dying. She proposes an alliance with Jack and Isabelle to find the legendary Golden Harp, capable of restoring their kingdom.
